Rosalind Lyons Hudson

Rosalind Lyons Hudson

The ambiguity of identity’ is a theme that threads through the work of this imaginative and highly stylized artist.

Rosalind cites Renaissance, Tudor and Jacobean portraiture as a significant influence.

In 2006 Rosalind gained the approval of The Globe Theatre to observe backstage, rehearsal and performance.

The National Trust invited Rosalind to exhibit a series of paintings ‘Shadows of Shakespeare’ in the highly appropriate location of The Long Gallery in Blickling Hall, Norfolk during the summer of 2010.

Rosalind Hudson gained a BA (Hons) Visual Arts in 1990 and in 2008 a MA in Fine Art. For some years she taught and lectured art and design before working exclusively as a professional artist.
