Jewellery has long been surrounded by tales of magical powers and mythical wonders, from golden necklaces that enchant the wearer and bewitch others, to rings which possess great power.”
The distinctive designs are brought to life in precious metals using many traditional hand worked techniques. Intricate details are cut out using a jewellers piercing saw.
Decorative effects such as, oxidising, enamelling, roll printing and keum boo (a Korean technique of fusing pure gold foil to silver) are used to add texture and colour.
